About the project

A student book-jacket project at Parsons, created in 2014. The country name expands across the sheet in tall, condensed red lettering.

Scale and contrast

The jacket folds into a portrait book, with a smaller black title on the front and the country’s names in several languages on the back. The difference in scale holds both an immediate graphic impression and a second level of reading.
